Learn how to speak up and make a complaint

Sometimes people may feel unhappy, unsafe, or not listened to by their staff and/or service.

This session helps participants understand what they can do if something does not feel right.

In this session, participants will learn:

  • how to speak up
  • who can help with a complaint
  • how complaints can make services better
  • how to complain to the NDIS Commission

Participants will also learn:

  • that everyone has the right to be heard
  • that making a complaint is okay
  • that support is available

The session uses:

  • real-life examples
  • videos and stories from people with lived experience

This session is to help people feel more confident to speak up and make a complaint when using disability services and supports.
